Steps to prepare

1. Preheat the oven

Preheat the oven to 180 °C (356 °F) with top and bottom heat. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Prep the ingredients

Measure and prepare all the ingredients. Season the tomato sauce with a little salt, black pepper, oregano and garlic powder if you like. Beat the egg with a pinch of salt in a wide, slightly oblong dish so you can easily dip the rice paper sheets.

3. Make the base

Dip each rice paper sheet in the beaten egg, then place it on the prepared baking sheet. Layer the sheets on top of each other, making sure they're well soaked. Once they soften, lift and fold the edges slightly inward; this forms a crispier crust as it bakes.

4. Add the toppings

Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the base. Add the mozzarella, turkey ham, sliced pickles and corn. Drizzle with the olive oil, spreading a little over the edges too. Sprinkle the crust with sesame seeds, and season the pizza with a little Bulgarian sharena sol if you like.

5. Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for about 15–20 minutes, until the mozzarella melts and the edges turn golden and crispy. The time may vary depending on your oven, so keep an eye on the pizza toward the end.
